Description
A charming vintage doll from the Scottish maker Wellwood of Selkirk, Scotland. This vintage doll stands approximately 11.5″ tall and retains her original tag: “A WELLWOOD DOLL Selkirk Scotland – Hand Dressed in the Scottish Borderland.” She is dressed in her original tartan skirt, knit cream pullover, hand-knit socks and white Mary-Jane style shoes. Her brown hair, blue eyes with lashes, and the outfit are in good vintage display condition. There is a small mark on her nose and some minimal age wear to the vinyl/plastic (see detailed photo). A well-documented example for a collector of Scottish souvenirs or vintage mid-century dolls.

Good vintage condition overall. Original outfit and tag are intact and clean. Some light surface marks and minor color transfer visible on her face (see close-up photos). Normal age-related wear to the plastic and outfit consistent with display or storage. No cracks or missing parts.
