A charming mixed lot of 30 vintage Taiwan novelty pencils, primarily from the D56 line, along with two additional Taiwan flocked animal pencils that match the same whimsical style. This assortment includes a wide range of fun themed toppers—animals, holidays, humor, food, and school themes—featuring favorites like the mailbox with its unused letter eraser, bubble gum machine, skillet with egg, spinning pinwheel, Christmas tree, moose, whale, dolphin, apple, birthday cake, black cat, sheep, and more. Most pencils are marked Taiwan D56; two are marked Taiwan/WT and blend seamlessly with the group. Five pencils have been sharpened, and several toppers show normal age-related glue discoloration typical for flocked 1980s items. A few pieces need simple repair: the reindeer antler is detached but included, the pumpkin is missing its stem, and the black cat and ice skate toppers need fresh glue. Some toppers show age-related dried glue at the base. The reindeer’s antler is detached but included, the pumpkin is missing its stem, and the black cat and ice skate toppers need re-glued.
