Description
Beautiful matching set of eight antique Benedict Manufacturing (BM Co.) silverplate stemmed goblets. Each goblet features a classic flared bowl, elegant stem, and stepped circular base. The undersides are marked with the early BM Co. diamond hallmark, indicating Benedict Manufacturing of Syracuse, New York.
Each goblet measures approximately 5 inches tall, 3 inches across the rim, and 2 inches across the base.
The set remains in good antique condition with expected signs of age and use. Surface scratches, polishing marks, tarnish, and silverplate wear are present throughout. Some goblets have small areas where the silverplate has worn, exposing the underlying copper base metal. One goblet has a brighter finish than the others due to variation in the remaining patina. Every goblet has been photographed individually to show interior views, so buyers can carefully examine the condition of each piece.
